About Me
I am pursuing my second Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Education at the University of South Florida, building on my first Ph.D. in Motor Learning and Development. I also hold a Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Tampa. My academic and professional journey integrates a unique combination of expertise in sports science, physical literacy, badminton coaching, motor learning, and instructional design.
SARA stands for Sports AI Resilience Academy—a space where we will learn together.
I bring extensive experience designing, developing, and teaching courses, particularly photography, using platforms like Canvas, Padlet, Rise-360, and Google Docs. Drawing on my background in sports science and my passion for education, I plan to develop courses focused on physical literacy, motor development, and athletic skill acquisition.
The COVID-19 pandemic profoundly affected the way we, as badminton coaches and educators, engage with students. One of my long-term goals is to help students—especially those without access to traditional on-site classes and facilities—achieve their academic and athletic aspirations. I aim to create offline and downloadable educational programs, making learning accessible through tablets and mobile devices.
In today’s increasingly complex world, effective communication is critical for understanding each other’s needs and goals. Through my Master’s coursework, I have acquired valuable skills in designing meaningful virtual learning environments. I learned from professors, peers, and industry experts how to solve real-world educational challenges through thoughtful instructional design.
By combining my knowledge in sports science and education with my instructional design skills, I am committed to creating impactful, accessible, and engaging courses for students and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across various fields.
